What is your pricing?

This question is of course one of the most popular ones.  I can absolutely understand wanting to find out pricing information without having to ask.  First, rates and collections vary by location and time. Some weddings require 8 hours where others require 12 plus hours.  Another factor in the pricing is location.  Not only do we shoot in Windsor but we have photographed weddings in London, Toronto, Dominican Republic and Jamaica. I create custom packages for all of my clients which is something that we can absolutely do for you.  If you’d like to obtain collection details for you wedding simply email or call and we will work out the best price for you.  To give you a general idea full wedding coverage includes getting ready photos of the bride and groom all the way until the reception, this also includes a primary photographer and second shooter.  Coverage starts at $2,900 (tax appl.) Special rates may apply for Friday & Sunday weddings as well as off season weddings (Nov. – Apr.)

Do you work with a second photographer?

I have spent the last eight years mastering my craft.  Although I can shoot an entire wedding on my own having an assistant makes the day run so much smoother.  I work with my amazing wife who tends to have a different perspective on the moments of the wedding day and together we aim to cover every angle.  Depending on the schedule for your wedding day she can be a second angle during the ceremony, cocktail hour and capture all the fun at the reception.

Do you edit all of your photographs?

Definitely!  you will not get a single image that I haven’t looked at.  Every image that you receive will be edited one at a time.  My other experiences include graphic design and magazine publishing. I always the perspective I use for various other elements of my art and apply it to your wedding photographs.  I strive to give you images that are flawless with great style but, also images that simply capture the moments throughout the day.

Can some of our photos be delivered in both black & white and colour?

Images delivered in black and white can sometimes be accompanied by the colour version as well.  Often times we decide to shoot in black and white because we feel that best suits the moment and location we are in.  You may only receive certain images in black and white however, if you have a preference please let me know prior to the wedding day and I will be happy to accommodate.

How long does it take before we receive our products and photographs?

When you book with me you will see that along with the hours of photography you receive a certain amount of editing time.  These times can vary from 40-60 hours.  Depending on the season your images may take longer for you to receive.  After the wedding we are there to provide you with anything you may need while we are processing your images.  If you need a photo for your thank you card or wanted to surprise your parents with a portrait please feel free to ask.  We’re here to work with you!

How many images will we receive?

The number of photographs taken depend on may things – the number of guest, hours of coverage, types of events happening throughout the day.  My average for an eight hour day with a second shooter is 1000 final edited images, but those numbers may vary depending on the day itself.

Do we keep the negatives?

I provide the selected edited high resolution digital files.  when the field are released to you I can provide you with a list of printers if you wish or you can have them printed through me.  I use an incredible printer right out of Toronto who never ceases to amaze me in their quality of prints.  I do retain the copyright to the images and the right to use them for promotional purposes.  If you need I’m glad to provide you with a written release that will allow you to make unlimited personal reproductions and cries for your friends and families.

How does the album design process work?

I give you a year to make your album selections before the book is subject to a few due to increases in yearly productions. you do get to preview your album and make three rounds of changes to it before there is a fee assessed. Once you approve the layout and design and cover styles are chosen your book will go to print.  All of this process can be completed online very easily.

What will my album look like?

With the fresh, modern books I design the images are printed directly onto the pages much like a coffee table book.  I like to keep the design of the albums clean and classic so that you will want to show your album to all the future generations of your growing family. We have a variety of options and upgrades from a basic coffee table album to flush mount leather bound albums.  Anything for all styles and budges.

Do you offer engagement sessions?

Yes I do and it’s one of my favourite aspects of working with you!  Most engagement sessions are done during with the week with very few exceptions because of the heavy wedding schedule we have during the high season.  Sessions can be photographed in Windsor-Essex County and Detroit.  I’m available to travel elsewhere for your engagement session (and would love to!), certain travel rates may apply to areas outside my usual geographic location.  The sessions are generally shot at 5 or 6 pm in the Spring/Summer months.  Since we have the luxury of scheduling the engagement session when we want to we like to ensure that the weather is perfect for your session.  We don’t get this opportunity on the wedding day so why not take advantage of the time we have.  Keep in mind that with the engagement session the more creative and unique you want to get the better!  This is not only the time to get to know each other and get some practice in it’s also the time to go outside your comfort zone and create a session that represents the two of you the way you picture it when you close your eyes and dream!
